Whey Towel

I found it amazing that Seventh Generation paper towels aren’t vegan. Yes, they have whey in them

  3. DAMN! That’s so irritating. Whey shows up in all the wrong places.

  5. I really don’t understand, but perhaps something to do with the texture. If I had to guess they’ll change their formulation at some point. Hopefully sooner than later. It does make me wonder what’s in Bounty paper towels, for example.

  6. I just got a long email response from 7th generation about this (and that they support Heifer International and had a photo of a father and son hunting on their website). The woman said that the supplier uses why to process the recycled paper and they are unaware of a source that does not require whey. I mentioned companies like Marcal who used recycle paper but do not list whey as an ingredient. Either other companies are not honest on their ingredient list or Seventh Generation just doesn’t care.
